Sara Pryce wins Bert Lamkin Salver

At the recent 2012 BRSCC Annual Awards Dinner, our Championship Co-ordinator Sara Pryce was the well deserved recipient of the Bert Lamkin Salver.

The Salver is presented annually to the person who has done the most to "promote the name and interests of the Club" and is named in memory of Bert Lamkin who served the BRSCC with great distinction from the 1950's through to the 1970's.

Prior to presenting the Salver to Sara, Bernard Cottrell announced to the guests the reasons behind her selection as the winner. "Sara has worked tirelessly over the last five seasons to build up the Arrowpak Euro Saloons Championship and in this period the championship has gone from strength to strength. Due to Sara's hard work & determination the championship has returned very healthy grids at every meeting and her enthusiasm and friendly demeanour, even under the inevitable stresses that race meetings bring, have made the Euro Saloons section of the paddock a pleasant place to be.

Sara is always volunteering to help the Club in whichever way she can; she was recently spotted on the Club stand at Autosport International and assisted me earlier this evening with the championship awards. She is a very deserving winner."

2011 Awards Evening

Come and join us to celebrate 2011 @ The Mercure Parkside Hotel, Newport Road, Milton Keynes. MK6 3LR on the 26th November 2011.

For the Evening itself the cost will be £35 per person, this is for a three course dinner and couple of bottles of wine on each table. The dress code will be black tie or smart casual. All are welcome, so bring along all the family. The evening will be a chance to look back and enjoy the highs and lows of the season.

Hi Sara,
I would just like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to yourself and indeed all the Eurosaloons & Sportscar competitors for all the support provided during the BRSCC-EA Snetterton meeting on Sunday.
Two excellent, virtually incident free races and qualifying session provided plenty of entertainment for the spectators and marshals around the circuit and hopefully for the competitors themselves, whilst enabling us to complete the extremely tight timetable in full.
I would specifically wish to thank all your competitors for their co-operation by being ready in the collecting area in ample time to allow us some very quick turnaround times during the afternoon and for taking on-board the comments given during our driver's briefing regarding giving each other a little space on the opening lap to avoid unnecessary contact / damage and to avoid exceeding the track limits. If only some other championships could follow your example!
Great to work with you and your competitors once again.
Hope to see you all at some stage next year.

My name is Jason Pitchford and I run Midland Tyre Shaving, based in Jacksdale Nottinghamshire. I am trying to contact as many race series co-ordinators as possible to spread the word about my where abouts. I am working alongside the MX5 guys at present but I want to be able to offer everybody the service that may be struggling with the lack of service providers in the midlands. And to also let them know of the superior finish I can offer because of the bespoke machine I have designed and built myself.
